Baitrunner Reels allow you to disengage your reel and let your live (or dead) bait get picked up by a predatory inshore gamefish and start running--that's when you engage the Auto Clutch and start the fight

Special reels for different types of water conditions and fish species began developing in the middle of the 19 th century

However, in situations where larger fish are expected or when fishing in heavy cover, a 60lb line provides the necessary strength and durability

Efficient Drainage System: Side water plug allows for easy draining of melted ice water without tipping

Both deliver the drag capacity and structural robustness to handle a determined twenty-pounder diving for a snag, where an underpowered reel risks a lost fish or a cooked drag washer
